Raising and taking care of children with special needs is a significant as well as challenging matter. Many approaches have been utilized to increase the quality of education for them and reduce the adverse impacts of variables such as stress and depression. One of these approaches, which has received a lot of attention in recent decades in Iran, is logotherapy. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to determine the effectiveness of logotherapy in parents of children with special needs. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to determine the effectiveness of logotherapy in parents of children with special needs. Using the meta-analysis method, this research determines the effect size of logotherapy by integrating the results of different research. Nine reviewed studies, published between 2011 and 2021, in terms of methodology were selected and meta-analysis was performed on them. The sources of data search were SID, NOORMAGS, MAGIRAN, and CIVILICA. Data analysis was done using CMA2 software and Hedges' g index. The findings show that investigating the heterogeneity of effects using Cochran's Q test, the Q value was 153.30 and the I square was 92.17, which is significant (p<0.001). As a result, the effect sizes are heterogeneous and the random effect model should be considered to analyze the effects. The size of the random effect is equal to 1.08. Similarly, the value of random Hedges' g equal to 1.04 was obtained. Therefore, it can be said that logotherapy has had a great effect on the parents of children with special needs.

The aim of the current meta-analysis was to determine the biological, cognitive and psychosocial characteristics of relative parents and irrelative parents that having more than one exceptional child in Iran. Study procedure was meta-analysis. This research specifies the effect size of the biological, cognitive and psychosocial characteristics of relative parents and irrelative parents that having more than one exceptional child by using meta-analysis technique and integrating the results of different studies. On the whole, 9 methodologically acceptable studies were selected and met analysis was done on them. Sources of data search were scientific documents in universities, noor specialized magazines database (Normans), Scientific Information Database (SID) and Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IRANDOC). The research tool was meta-analysis checklist. Finding of research showed that the rate of effect size of biological, cognitive and psychosocial characteristics of relative parents and irrelative parents that having more than one exceptional child in Iran was high. Therefore, it seems that the education programs before of marriage can be used as a method to prevent the relative marriage. On the other hand, planning to prevent of the impairments of biological, cognitive and psychosocial characteristics of relative parents that having more than one exceptional child has particular importance.

The purpose of this study was to combine the results of various researches and to reach a general conclusion on the effectiveness of educational and therapeutic interventions on learning disorders and determining the role of gender and age of the subjects on the effectiveness of educational and therapeutic interventions on learning disorders; the meta-analysis method was performed. The statistical population of the present study was all available studies on the effectiveness of educational, therapeutic and psychological interventions on types of learning disabilities (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and math disorders). After applying the entry and exit criteria, 128 research were selected as sample. Of these studies, 623 effects size were extracted and analyzed by CMA2 software. The results showed that the combined effect size of educational and therapeutic interventions on learning disabilities was significant in both fixed and random models (P≤0.001) and, based on interpretative criteria, a large amount was evaluated. Also, the results of evaporation and independent t-test showed that the effect of age and gender as moderating variables was not significant (P≤0.001). Therefore, it can be concluded that educational and therapeutic interventions have very good efficacy and the variables of gender and age of the subject have no effect on the effectiveness of interventions.

: The present study was conducted in order to perform the meta-analyticstudy of individual and family factors that were effectiveonattention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Method:For this purpose 25studieswere collected and after entering data into CMA-2 softwareand sensitivity analysis, one study which was disharmonious with other studieswas removed and finally,24 studieswere analyzed. The average effect size(r) in theindividual factors was 0.22 and in thefamily factors it was 0.14. So, according toCohen's criteria, the effect size of individual factors and family factors werereported below the average. In investigating the separated effect size offactors, the variables ofacademic performance, identity crisis, intelligence, working memory, and behavioralmanagementofparents were higher than average. Due to the significance of Qstatistic based on heterogeneity in these studies, the variables of sex, population, measuring instruments, sampling method and agewere entered into the analysis as confounding variables. Results: Zdifferences test, in the studies related to the individual factors, showed thatthe effect size was significant for all intervening variables but in examining thefamily factors, this difference was seen in the variables of sex, population, measuring instruments and sampling method. Conclusion:Due to the obtained average effect size in the above variables, researchers andclinicians should consider the importance of these factors in the evaluationand treatment of attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Also, researchersshould notice the role of modulators that were listed above in their futurestudies
