هدف: هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، تدوین برنامه‌ای برای آموزش والدین دارای فرزند با اختلال نارسایی توجه/ بیش فعالی و بررسی میزان اثربخشی این برنامه بر کاهش نشانههای این اختلال و کارکرد خانواده (شیوههای فرزند¬پروری و استرس والدینی) است. روش: در این پژوهش نیمه آزمایشی، تعداد 24 نفر از والدین دارای کودکان با اختلال نارسایی توجه با روش نمونهگیری خوشه¬ای چند مرحله¬ای به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش (12 نفر) و کنترل (12 نفر) شرکت داشتند. برای جمعآوری داده¬های مربوط به تشخیص اختلال از مقیاس درجهبندی نشانههای اختلال نارسایی توجه/بیش فعالی که بر مبنای کتاب راهنمای تشخیصی و آماری بیماریهای روانی (2000) ساخته شده است و نیز به منظور بررسی کارکرد خانواده از مقیاس استرس والدینی (PSI/SF) و پرسشنامۀ سبک‌های فرزند پروری رابینسون و همکاران (2000) استفاده شده است. با استفاده از آزمون آماری تحلیل کوواریانس و تحلیل واریانس (با اندازه گیری مکرر)، به کمک نرم افزار SPSS تأثیر آموزش والدین بر کاهش نشانههای اختلال و کارکرد خانواده مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. یافته¬ها: نتایج به دست آمده در این پژوهش نشان داد که آموزش والدین توانسته است بر کاهش میزان استرس والدین، افزایش شیوۀ فرزندپروری مقتدرانه (پدر و مادر) و کاهش شیوۀ فرزندپروری سهلگیر پدر در سطح (05/0 > P) تأثیر معنادار داشته باشد. همچنین لازم به ذکر است که آموزش والدین بر کاهش نشانه‌ها، شیوۀ فرزندپروری خودکامه (پدر و مادر) و سهلگیر (مادر) در سطح )05/0 <P) تأثیر معنادار نداشت. نتایج مربوط به آزمون پیگیری نیز نشان داد که شیوۀ فرزندپروری خودکامه مادر در سطح (01/0>P) افزایش یافته است. به طور کلی می¬توان نتیجه¬گیری کرد که برنامه مذکور می¬تواند برای بهبود کارکرد خانواده تأثیر داشته باشد.

The goal of this study is to develop a training program for parents of children with attention deficit/hyperactive disorder (ADHD) and to examine the effect of this program on reduction of ADHD symptoms and family function. In this quasi-experimental research, 24 parents of children with ADHD are selected through a cluster random sampling method and are assigned randomly into two experiment and control groups (12 in each group). ADHD, parental stress, and parenting styles are respectively evaluated utilizing DSM-IV (2000) criteria, PSI/SF (Abidin, 1983, cited in Strachan, 2005), and Robinson’s et al., (2000) Parenting Styles Questionnaire. The data analysis using ANCOVA and MANOVA revealed that this program could improve stress level and parenting styles. No significant difference was observed for reduction of ADHD symptoms. Accordingly, it can be concluded that this program is useful for improving family function.
