Abstract

In order to study the relationship between resiliency and job satisfaction in teachers of Conventional and Exceptional Schools in Tehran in the Academic of 2009-2010.
In this regard, 270 male and female teachers (135 teacher of Conventional and 135 Exceptional Schools were selected randomly and completed the relevant questionnaires.
Data were analyzed with Pearson correlation coefficient and in order to investigate the differences between the correlation coefficients, fisher’s Z was applied. The results revealed that although, a strong positive relationship between the two variables (%27).On the contrary there was not any significant difference between the resiliency and job satisfaction values obtained from the teachers of conventional and exceptional schools.
Resiliency is main factor to determine job satisfaction in academic setting. And the role of job satisfaction is critical in quality of work in occupational and academic environment.
