چکیده [English]

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a parental behavior management training program on parent-child interaction, academic buoyancy, and symptoms in children exhibiting signs of conduct disorder. The research method was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The statistical population comprised all mothers of children with symptoms of conduct disorder in Karaj City during the 2024–2025 academic year. Using purposive sampling, 30 mothers of children with conduct disorder symptoms were selected and randomly assigned into two experimental groups and one control group. Data collection instruments included the Pianta Parent-Child Interaction Questionnaire (1994), the Martin & Marsh Academic Buoyancy Scale (2008), and the parent version of the Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist (2001). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26, employing univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA and MANCOVA) along with the Bonferroni post-hoc test. The significance level was set at 0.05. The results showed that the parental behavior management program had a significant effect on improving parent-child interaction, enhancing academic buoyancy, and reducing symptoms of conduct disorder. Based on these findings, the parental behavior management program can be utilized as a practical and effective intervention in family counseling centers and schools to improve parent-child interaction, increase academic buoyancy, and reduce conduct disorder symptoms in children.
