Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that its treatment has been challenged for parents and developmental disabilities professionals. In recent years, neurofeedback is one of the interventions utilized to treat ADHD. The effectiveness of this kind of treatment has been controverted. The aim of current study was to identify the nature, characteristics and research evidence about the efficacy of neurofeedback in ADHD. In the same vein, from web of data-based information (Pupmed, Springer, ProQuest, Scopus, and Elsevier) and by using keywords including ADHD, Neurofeedback, QEEG-Informed Neurofeedback, efficacy of neurofeedback treatment in ADHD, ADHD and meta-analysis, effect size in neurofeedback treatment in ADHD, EEG and email communication with professional psychologist or psychiatrist, as well, data were gathered and systemically reviewed. Despite reporting more Iranian researches indicating effectiveness of neurofeedback in ADHD treatment, some research evidences including methodological issues, and some characteristics such as the life-span problem, comorbidity, and recent evidence-based practice, impeach the significance of neurofeedback efficacy and the related data. This method is struggling because the neurofeedback is introduced as only an interventionist method, not a miraculous approach, and bring ethical challenges for the researchers. This study stresses on more methodologically accurate investigations on neurofeedback and ADHD.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of group intervention treatment on the improvement of social skills, academic competence and the reduction of behavior problems in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The study is based on the A-B-A single-subject design. Using the purposive sampling, three students were selected. Training sessions, which were based on Derosier social skills training program, consisted of ten lessons that were held for five months in twenty 40-minute sessions. Using the Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS), during and after each 3-training session, the evaluation was carried out. In order to track the training results, the questionnaire was filled out by the trainer one month later. According to the data visual analysis results, this program succeeded to improve the social skills and behavior problems in all of the three participants. Regarding the improvement of the academic competence, this program proved to be effective only for the first participant. According to the research findings, the nature of the group interventions, which creates more opportunities for interaction and an increase in the motivation for children to relate, not only leads to social skills and relation improvement, but also has a direct and positive impact on the behavior problems( including the reduction of bullying, internalizing and externalizing symptoms). Regarding the effect of this program on academic competence, further research is needed.

The present study examined the mediationg role of positive and negative achievement emotions on the relationship between perfectionism and academic well-being among boy and girl gifted adolescents. In this correlational study, 326 gifted students (161 boy and 165 girl) responded to the Multidimensional Perfectionism Cognitions Inventory (MPCI, Kobori, 2006), the Achievement Emotions Questionnaire- Revised (AEQ-R, Abdollahpour, 1394), the Schoolwork Engagement Inventory (SEI, Salmela-Aro & Upadaya, 2012) and the School Burnout Inventory (SBI, Salmela-Aro, Kiuru, Leskinen & Nurmi, 2009). Results indicated that for total sampel and for boy and girl gifted adolescents, the partially mediated model of positive and negative achievement emotions on the relationship between perfectionism and academic well-being had good fit to data. The results of the group specificity of structural relations showed that the relationship between perfectionism, achievement emotions, academic well-being were equivalent for both groups. All of the regression weights in the global model and for each of the two groups (boy and girl gifted adolescents) were statistically significant. These results consistent with contemporary models of giftedness show that noncognitive concepts such as social/emotional abilities have critical role in prediction of academic functioning of girl and boy gifted high school students.

The purpose of the present study was to provide a comparative investigation of comprehension of lexical relations device as one of cohesion devices, including hyponymy, part- whole and collocation, according to Dooley and Levinsohn (2000) between normal and educable DS Persian-speaking students’ narrative discourse. To this end, 20 normal and 20 DS boys and girls were purposefully selected using convenience sampling from ordinary and exceptional schools of Kerman city in Mehr 1395. The subjects were asked to talk about the topic of “Going to the park”. Then their speech was recorded by one of the researchers. The gathered data was analyzed by SPSS software. The research results showed that only in the comprehension of collocation there was a significantly meaningful difference between the two groups of subjects but this difference was not significantly meaningful in analyzing the lexical relations as a whole.

Various therapeutic approaches have been used to improve the symptoms of this disorder. One of the interventions in this area is the Adler and Glasser therapies. The purpose of the present study was to introduce the nature, characteristics, and research evidence about the effectiveness of Adler-Glaser's approach to coping disordered disorder. In the present study, through systematic review of research and the search for specialized keywords related to Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Adler and Glasser's approach in specialized databases of Iran and the world between 1985 and 2017, the findings and the information sought to achieve The purpose of the research was analyzed. For this purpose, the Google Scholar, ERIC, Science Direct and Pubmed databases were extracted and analyzed. Also, some Persian sources used in this field were used. The review of the literature suggests the effectiveness of Adler-Glaser's approach to the symptoms of disobedience disorder. Based on Adler-Glaser's approach, they are not disorderly disordered disorder, but they are discouraged and their five needs have not been answered.
